Our Learning Environment

Welcome to our learning room!

Here is a quick snap of what my classroom looks like. I set up my classroom to have whole group and small group instruction, and to include center rotations.  Tables are labeled with sesame street characters, so when students are dismissed for center work, they rotate accordingly. I plan with a core skeleton in mind for each table and change the activities associated with the core lesson to have structure, routines and procedures in place. For example during literature centers "cookie monsters" table will always be an interactive journal or sight word activity. My teacher table will always be guided reading and so forth and so on.

I have a very small classroom, so I use crates as cubbies.
